Check what changed in a company’s newer SEC filings.
Use this workflow for a specific disclosure topic or choose profile=financial_risk to check liquidity, debt, dilution/equity issuance, and changed risk disclosures together against the prior comparable filing.
When this task fits
Use filedproof.check_disclosure_changes for topic-relevant changes in new SEC filings, such as a risk-factor topic, liquidity disclosure, covenant discussion, or another filing-grounded subject. Do not use it to infer motive, causation, business impact, legal significance, accounting significance, economic materiality, or investment materiality.
Required facts
Provide a ticker, CIK, or exact company name that FiledProof can resolve.
State one disclosure topic, or use financial_risk for the bounded liquidity/debt/dilution/risk report. Provide one selector, not both.
For recurring monitoring, pass the prior checkpoint.accession as sinceAccession. The first eligible check can establish a checkpoint.
The operation requires newer filing work and a comparable same-form baseline. Missing applicability is rejected before payment.
Evaluate fit without paying
Inspect live capabilities, then use the free issuer-resolution and filing-list operations when coverage is uncertain. The paid operation itself performs applicability checks before issuing a payment challenge: invalid checkpoints, no-new-filing work, and missing same-form baselines are nonbillable.
Price and purchase boundary
$1.00 USD per completed authorized invocation that reaches paid specialist work. The server-owned live capabilities document and payment challenge are authoritative. Payment uses MPP through the currently advertised methods. A challenge or payment attempt is not a completed result.

Evidence and limitations
Results preserve SEC provenance, before/after evidence, reporting context, numeric anchors, uncertainty, and the next checkpoint. The report distinguishes documented filing changes from deterministic category and attention labels. Attention is not a conclusion about legal, accounting, economic, or investment materiality; omission does not prove a risk disappeared, a shelf or authorization is not money raised, and potential dilution is not realized dilution. A filing establishes what the issuer reported, not every external real-world fact.
Retry safely
If payment settled but delivery was interrupted, retry the identical authorized request with the same payment credential. Changing sinceAccession or another payment-bound argument creates a new invocation and may require a new authorization.
