Find the filing changes that deserve attention.
Use this low-cost operation when an upstream agent needs a compact answer to “what meaningfully changed?” between two comparable 10-K or 10-Q filings without rebuilding retrieval, normalization, diffing, triage, and citation.
Operation
filedproof.check_material_filing_changes costs $0.10 USD per completed authorized invocation. Supply exact earlierAccession and laterAccession, or omit both and choose form so FiledProof deterministically selects the latest comparable pair.
Supported scope
The launch scope is same-form 10-K to 10-K or 10-Q to 10-Q. 8-K event analysis is intentionally not advertised by this operation. Ambiguous issuers, missing filings, unsupported forms or focus values, and invalid pairs fail before a payment challenge.
What comes back
The material-filing-change-check.v1 result includes meaningful changes, before/after SEC locators, low-signal or unchanged sections, confidence, limitations, and source URLs. “Potentially decision-relevant” is deterministic triage language, not a conclusion that a change is legally material or investment-significant.
When to go deeper
When high-attention changes, several notable changes, or a bounded/truncated comparison warrant additional verification, the result can recommend filedproof.check_disclosure_changes at $1.00 USD. This is machine-readable routing guidance, not an automatic purchase.
